On The Development Of Zheng Ensemble Works Since The 1990s

In recent years,as a relatively new form of art performance,zither ensemble has been more and more active on various stages and has been widely popularized.The art form of zither ensemble was formally established as a course by professor Baoquan He of Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 1990s.Since then,most of universities started to set up the relative courses about zither ensemble.It has been explored for 30 years and the content of zither ensemble has been developed at a high speed.Thus,a large of perform forms and various professional zither orchestras have entered into the audience's vision.And increasingly players pay attention to the art form.With the decades of development,zither ensemble has been an important form of performance in significant concerts.Meanwhile,increasingly famous composers pay attention to this field and start to the creation of the zither ensemble,including domestic Danhong Wang,Chenglong Zhou and GuanrenGu,and Robert Zollitschfrom German.This thesis has found the detailed development process by analyzing the achievement of the perspectives of creation techniques and performance skills according to the different times and styles in the past 30 years.The author make sure the development of zither ensemble via the perspective of the characteristics of the works,instead of a specific basis to divide the historical stages.The research methods including the literature research method,music analysis method and the performance research method,are used in this paper.Firstly,the author have studied the zither ensemble and the related discussions of representative composers via searching relevant books,journal literatures and academic thesis.Besides,the development of zither ensemble is explored as appropriate as possible.Secondly,the author have made a detailed music analysis of some representative works,including composition techniques,music materials,music forms and harmonies to clarify their distinctive music styles,and then sorts out their development characteristics.In addition,the author have analyzed the video or audio materials of the works by combining with own rehearsal and performance experience,and furtherly made an analysis from the performance angle.Besides,this thesis is composed of three parts:introduction,text and conclusion.In the section of introduction,the significance of the zither ensemble and the relevant research literatures are introduced;what is more,the research condition of the topic is presented.The first chapter of the text has explored the inheritance of the creation of zither ensemble to traditional music.The second chapter has discussed the modern fusion of the creation of zither ensemble.The third chapter has investigated the influence of international multiculturalism on the creation of zither ensemble.
