Two Thematic Studies Of Shuo Wen Jie Zi Xi Zhuan

Xu Kai’s Shuo Wen Jie Zi Xi Zhuan is an important work that explains Shuo Wen Jie Zi and has significant textual value.The current versions are Qi Junzao’s edition and Shugu Tang’s edition.Qi Junzao’s edition is based on the Qing Dynasty Gu Guangqi’s edition,but the latter has now been lost.The basis for Gu is Mao’s edition,although Mao’s edition has also been lost,its content can be seen in the Qing Dynasty’s Shuo Wen Jie Zi Jiao Lu of Niu Shuyv.This article takes Shuo Wen Jie Zi Xi Zhuan as the research object,and plans to conduct two thematic studies around three versions of Xi Zhuan:one is the study of using Mao’s edition in Shuo Wen Jie Zi Jiao Lu,and the other is the verification of Qi Junzao’s edition.Shuo Wen Jie Zi Jiao Lu cites Mao’s edition to mainly study the textual differences between it and the Shugu Tang’s edition.Firstly,we collected 3256 pieces of Mao’s edition content from Niu’ Shuo Wen Jie Zi Jiao Lu,and compared them comprehensively with Shugu Tang’s version.We also participated in the Song version,Pingjin Guan version,and Chen Changzhi version of the Daxu version,using materials such as "Yupian" "Jiyun" "Leipian"and "Yunhui" as auxiliary materials.Based on previous scholars’ research opinions and ancient literature materials,we conducted detailed argumentation and analyzed the types and reasons of differences to achieve the goal of improving Xi Zhuan.For the verification of Qi’s edition,a comprehensive word by word proofreading was conducted on the first and later versions,summarizing 455 proofreading and correction contents.Combined with other literature materials,the correctness and basis of proofreading and correction were analyzed.The full text is divided into four parts.The first chapter is an introduction.Introduce the reasons for selecting the topic and provide an overall overview of the edition of Briefly describe the current research status of Xi Zhuan,clarify the research significance,and explain the research methods.It is divided into five sections:reasons for the topic selection,version introduction,research status,research significance,and research methods;The second chapter is about Shuo Wen Jie Zi Jiao Lu citing Mao’s edition.The first section is the main text of the classification research essay,and the second section is a summary and analysis of Xu Kai’s annotations;The third chapter is to verify and discuss the proofreading of Qi’s edition,examine its proofreading and changes to the original version,analyze the right and wrong,and draw five main conclusions;Chapter 4 is the conclusion,summarizing the research on the text and pointing out its shortcomings.
