| Urban IP image design is an important visual means for a city to showcase its own characteristics and charm during its development process.It adopts the principles of regionality,comprehensiveness,and personality to make abstract and obscure cultural connotations accepted by the public in a tangible and visual form,and has multiple functions such as cultural innovation and economic transformation.The regional context contains rich historical information,accompanied by the exchange of various elements in its surrounding areas.Jinan’s regional context is the inner soul of Jinan’s development,showcasing its unique historical culture and social customs.It is a precious resource formed through the accumulation of time.Currently,Jinan has realized the importance of shaping its urban image in its construction and development,but there is still no systematic urban IP image design.In this context,the author proposes the idea of combining regional context with urban IP image,and takes Jinan as the research object to analyze the necessity of urban IP image design based on regional context.From the perspectives of design,communication,and other disciplines,the author provides new ideas and approaches for the development of Jinan’s urban image,and updates Jinan’s urban IP image through systematic artistic design practice and creation,To provide a thinking path for the design of IP image in domestic and foreign cities.The regional context of Jinan is the crystallization of Longshan culture,Qilu Culture,Spring City Culture and other cultures.On this basis,the urban IP image design meets the needs of the development of Jinan’s urban culture.It transforms the excellent regional context of Jinan into urban competitiveness through novel artistic design means.The author takes the urban IP image design of Jinan based on regional context as the research object,and summarizes the regional context of Jinan from two perspectives:diachronic and synchronic.The author changes the traditional urban IP image design techniques and integrates audience feelings into the design elements.From this,the unique cultural symbols of Jinan are derived:"mountains,springs,lakes,rivers,and cities".Through the analysis of the existing design related to the urban image of Jinan,the IP image of Jinan must be based on a deep regional context,and be an organic whole closely related internally and adapted externally to the times.Based on the above,the author refined and extracted elements such as shape,color,and personality from "mountains,springs,lakes,rivers,cities" and other unique symbols of Jinan,and designed the IP image of Jinan city from four levels:presentation form,story interpretation,universal personality,and social value.Through the author’s research,most urban IP image designs that originally focused on popular styles have been expanded to the construction of regional context urban IP image creation models.The urban IP image design centered on regional context dynamically integrates the content,diversity,and other characteristics of the two,providing reference and ideas for cultural creators to deeply explore local excellent cultural resources,and achieving a closed-loop integration of regional context and urban image. |
