In the era of Web3.0,the development of digital technology and 5G network has promoted the development of "digital space" and opened the door to the transition from the mobile Internet era to the digital era.The innovation of digital twinning and display technology and the transformation of public awareness have raised public expectations for digital display.At the same time,under the background of the digitalization wave in the entire industry,the digital development of Chinese universities is progressing rapidly.Research on smart campus based on digital twinning and virtual reality campus and other digital campus cultural display methods have gradually entered the public eye.Although some domestic and foreign universities have already used various methods to build digital campus display platforms,there are still certain shortcomings in the virtual and real integration.The existing campus cultural display methods alone cannot effectively integrate immersion,on-site experience and interaction.Therefore,it is necessary to optimize the concept and methods of campus cultural promotion.Based on the above background,we rely on digital twinning technology to create the "NNNU Campus Red Culture Augmented Reality Exhibition" application.Through virtual interactive design in the campus,we promote the publicity of campus red culture content and attract visitors in a unique and innovative way,promoting the spread of campus red culture.This article mainly adopts research methods such as literature research and questionnaire survey to determine the design of the "NNNU Campus Red Culture Augmented Reality Exhibition" based on digital twinning technology.Through the Unity engine,cultural content and interactive design are integrated into the digital twinning campus,and augmented reality display is used to overlay these virtual contents onto the real Nanning Normal University campus space,allowing visitors to experience campus culture in an immersive way and feel the charm of combining virtual and reality.This article focuses on the design and practice of the Nanning Normal University campus red culture augmented reality application,including the following aspects: firstly,in the introduction,the research purpose,significance,and innovation points are clarified.Relevant literature and cases are sorted out.The current problems of campus red culture display are analyzed.Research methods and frameworks are summarized to provide ideas for subsequent development.Secondly,the concepts of digital twinning and augmented reality are sorted out,and their application status is summarized and learned to lay a theoretical foundation for design practice.Thirdly,the background of the "NNNU Campus Red Culture Augmented Reality Exhibition" project is analyzed,and the exhibition content is planned based on the project requirements and the results of target users and scene investigation.Principles and methods of campus augmented reality display are summarized.Fourthly,based on the determined theme and design principles,the design practice of this application is carried out,that is,the Easy AR Mega platform is used to identify registration and modeling of the campus environment,and the "NNNU Campus Red Culture Augmented Reality Exhibition" is developed through the Unity engine and other development platforms.The application design process is summarized,the application functions are tested,and the use effect of the application program is analyzed.After the basic function test of the work was normal,the author invited on-campus personnel to conduct user experience testing and interviews.The interview results showed that the "NNNU Campus Red Culture Augmented Reality Exhibition" application can meet users’ needs for more information to a certain extent,enhance the diversity of campus culture display,bring users positive and pleasant emotional experience,and have certain feasibility and practicality for promoting campus culture.Finally,a summary of the experience of this application design and a prospect for the future of campus red culture display are provided.Based on digital twinning technology and with campus red culture display as the core content,this study summarizes the interactive design principles of campus red culture augmented reality display and carries out application design practice,aiming to enable visitors to experience campus culture display effects based on reality but higher than reality,enrich campus culture display content,and enhance the interaction and experience of the audience during the visit.The research is still in the early stage of theoretical exploration and practice,and the application design products are only based on the effects produced by the digital twinning underlying technology,and the effects of multi-layered technology fusion still need further research and exploration.
