| With the development of internet platform technology and the influence of the epidemic era,online independent learning platforms such as:NetEase Cloud Classroom and bilibili(b station for short)have become the most prominent choices for young people to improve their learning performance and seek career development.However,due to the existing platforms’ problems such as collaborative approach one and lack of teaching activities,the current effectiveness of learners’ online learning is not ideal.This paper takes bilibili as a research vehicle,and at the level of theoretical significance,takes individual cognitive development mechanism as an entry point to explore the influencing factors of knowledge construction in online collaborative learning and optimise the theoretical model of knowledge construction.At the practical level,the paper addresses the problems of imperfect collaboration functions and the lack of knowledge construction in the existing online learning platform,proposes specific and targeted strategies to promote knowledge construction in online collaborative learning,and completes the design of the b-site learning tool in this way,with the aim of improving users’ learning effectiveness and satisfaction.Applying the theoretical foundations related to constructivism,knowledge association and collaborative learning,this paper takes the b-site platform and user behaviour as the research object,and conducts the following research with a sample of young people aged between 16 and 35:(1)This paper uses literature analysis to elaborate and supplement the influencing factors of knowledge construction from the perspective of individual and collective cognitive development mechanisms,and combines them with the evaluation indexes of online self-directed learning platforms to propose a theoretical model.(2)A comparative analysis study of b-site related competing learning platforms and related learning tools was conducted to understand the user needs,interaction characteristics and functional processes of different products,and it was found that the current online learning platforms still fail to meet the needs of users for personalised and flexible teaching activities,providing reference and optimisation opportunities for subsequent design studies.(3)Using the theoretical model of online learning experience satisfaction as a framework,the questionnaire method,interview method and observation method are used to understand the group characteristics and learning satisfaction situation of b-site users,users’ experience related to knowledge construction,and the way users’ knowledge is structured respectively.Based on the theoretical model,comparative analysis of competing products and the pain points of users’ needs,this paper designs the b-site learning tool,which is divided into two important modules,knowledge association and collaborative learning,and carries out functional design according to the learning stages,and optimises and iterates the solution after comparison experiments.The design ideas are as follows:(1)Knowledge association module:By subdividing the knowledge association structure according to sameness,affiliation and relevance and summarising the visual presentation,the knowledge structure that may appear to users is predetermined,so that users can efficiently sort out the knowledge structure by inlining knowledge nodes and outreach knowledge units.(2)Collaborative learning module:The needs,methods and feasible functions of collaboration are differentiated for users at different learning stages.In the pre-class stage,the existing real-time pop-up area and discussion forum functions of b-site are optimised,and in the post-class stage,the function of sharing and collaborative editing of knowledge structure cards is provided for users with the carrier of cards,so that the understanding of new knowledge can be supported by associating the old knowledge of consensus among collaborative members.This paper conducts a practical study using the existing learning product Heptabase,based on the complete functional design of each of the two key modules mentioned above for different learning stages.Using content analysis and questionnaires based on SOLO classification theory,we verify the effectiveness of two evaluation indicators,namely the level of user knowledge construction and satisfaction with the learning experience,and the usability of the learning tool design,respectively.The design process is innovative in terms of design strategies and evaluation methods.It effectively solves the problems of the lack of collaboration methods and knowledge construction functions of the existing platform,and has certain reference value for the subsequent related theoretical and practical research. |
