Puccini is a famous Italian composer at the end of the 19 th century.As a representative of realism,his works are close to life,the content is true,and are loved by the people.The opera Manon Lesco is Puccini’s third opera.It was successfully performed in Turin opera house in 1893,which is a milestone in Puccini’s creative career.Manon Lesco takes the heroine magnon’s emotional entanglement as the clue,and her fate fluctuates with dramatic color.The opera is composed of a large number of arias.Among them,magnon’s Aria has beautiful melody and smooth lines,which has become a classic singing track in the learning career of soprano.This paper is mainly divided into three chapters.The first chapter summarizes Puccini’s life and the creative background of the opera Manon Lesco;The second chapter studies the characterization of "Manon" in the opera Manon Lesco from two aspects: first,the dramatic creation techniques depict the characters’ character and inner conflict,and the text adopts a variety of narrative methods in parallel to reflect the distinct drama;Secondly,through the analysis of the musical structure,composer’s creative techniques and style in the classic aria of "Manon",this paper analyzes Puccini’s sublimation of the character image by using a variety of musical languages.The third chapter studies the second creation of "Manon" classic aria in stage practice.First,through the study of the image data of some performing artists performing the classic aria of "Manon",this paper interprets how the artist’s second creation can further enrich the character image of "Manon" on the stage;Second,through the author’s own singing practice,further understand the character image of "Manon".
