Research On The Improvement Of Budget Management Quality Of WD Film Company

Chinese service industry corporations are in a stage of rapid development,and within the industry,chain corporation management model is relatively common.After the initial formation of the store expansion layout,how to increase corporation efficiency by improving management methods,is an issue that every corporation faces and needs to be solved urgently.WD Films is a nationwide cinema listed company established in 2005,which owned over 600 cinemas.WD is in a period of rapid expansion in terms of new cinemas and business expansion,but budget management has not kept up with the development process of the company,which exposes issues such as the failure to reach budget targets in some regions,frequent modification of budget targets,and increasingly prominent contradictions among budget execution departments.Well functioning of budget management is one of the key points for the development of WD.Thus,improving the quality of budget management has great significance to the development of WD.By adopting literature research method and normative research method,using literature research,logical analysis,case studies and other methods,based on budget management,financial shared service center,process reengineering and other theories,this paper takes WD as the research object to study how to improve the quality of corporation budget management by applying financial shared service center.Firstly,this paper introduces the background and significance of the research,the domestic and foreign research status,and the theoretical basis of the research;secondly,it illustrates the budget management status of WD,analyzing the issues and reasons;finally,it suggests that,based on the original financial shared service center,WD should add budget group in the financial shared service center,reshape the budget management process,apply budget system and improve the quality of budget management to assist with WD’s business development.The method of applying financial shared service center to improve the quality of budget management also has certain reference significance for the other entities within WD Group and other film companies in the same industry.
