| The Manchurian plague in 1910 was the most serious plague in Chinese history.At the same time,it is also the first time in Chinese history that it has achieved an active anti-epidemic victory.The formulation of epidemic prevention regulations,the addition of epidemic prevention institutions,and the changes in people’s concept of epidemic prevention during this period have promoted the establishment of China’s modern epidemic prevention system and laid the foundation of China’s modern scientific epidemic prevention.As an influential mass media at that time,Ta Kung Pao has always maintained a high degree of attention to the epidemic,and is committed to conducting social mobilization and building consensus on epidemic prevention through reporting,which has played a pivotal role in overcoming the epidemic.This paper is mainly divided into three parts.The first part constructs and analyzes the related reports about the plague in Northeast China in 1910 by Ta Kung Pao,mainly focusing on five aspects: the number of reports,the length of the reports,the sources of the reports,the topics of the reports and the reporting attitudes,and the analysis results are presented in the form of data visualization;The second part discusses the reporting framework of the plague in Ta Kung Pao on the basis of the first part,which are scientific framework,government framework,conflict framework and social responsibility framework.The third part analyzes the social mobilization of Ta Kung Pao during the epidemic from three aspects: rational guidance,emotional mobilization and action encouragement,based on the research of the first two parts,and puts the plague and Ta Kung Pao in the context of the times,further explore how Ta Kung Pao promotes the formation and consolidation of consensus on epidemic prevention through the construction of a reporting framework and social mobilization. |
