Spain in the 1950 s was influenced by modern European art,which gave native Spanish painters a variety of options and possibilities for development.But Antonio Lopez Garcia still insisted on a figurative painting path that was contrary to the current trend of art at that time.His figurative art is unique in contemporary Spanish art.Through the study of his figurative art works,it is analyzed whether Lopez’s painting language and theory have to guide enlightenment for figurative painting on modern Chinese shelves.In this paper,Antonio Lopez Garcia’s life experience,artistic experience,work analysis and his enlightenment to the current oil painting creation to establish a research framework,from his painting experience to the transformation of artistic style,with the painting language and theory of his works as the main research object,using literature analysis to classify and sort out and integrate the collected data;using work analysis to analyze Lopez’s painting in all directions;using comparative research methods to summarize the similarities and differences between Lopez and other artists.By combing Lopez’s main painting experience,we understand the transformation of Lopez’s painting style at that time and its impact on the work,and explore the painting language and theory in the work.Most of the papers are about the mystery,spirituality,concealment and so on in Lopez’s work.It is believed that the reasons affecting the essence of Lopez’s work are not only the mystery behind the work,the quiet in the spirit and the concealment in the ideas,but also the objective facts that are restored by Lopez’s painting language.Through the research of this subject,this paper makes a systematic combing of the art of Antonio Lopez Garcia,summarizes the use of light in the painting language of his work in essence on the detailed characterization of the projection,the composition of multi-angle adjacent space is the essence of Lopez direct vision scene viewing mode,and the essence of picture edge distortion is his painting creation according to the retinal imaging theory.He uses the most simple emotion to life to convey the extraordinary artistic language and theory,shows the different realistic art from the modern,and also more clearly shows the enlightenment of his artistic composition to the prevailing realistic art.
