Practice And Research On The Localization Of Ballroom Dance From The Perspective Of Cross-culture

National standard dance,as an imported product,has gone through the process of going from ballroom dance to social dance to national standard dance.Its attribute characteristics have also shifted from competitive to artistic,and through the continuous integration and infiltration of Chinese and Western cultures,many artistic performance dance works have emerged.Taking the artistic performance dance "Zhai","Hutong Impression","Floating Life as a Dream","Farewell to Kangqiao",and "Wandering in the Garden" as practical and research cases for the localization of national standard dance,this study explores the cross-cultural integration of China and the West from the themes,movements,music and costumes,and props of the works.These five works are all created using national standard dance as a carrier and drawing on Chinese cultural elements.Therefore,by shaping character images Practice the application of props and the mastery of dance action vocabulary to organize the performance experience.This paper is divided into three parts: introduction,main text,and conclusion.The introduction of the paper is an explanation of the reason for selecting the topic,research purpose and significance,domestic and foreign literature review,and research ideas and methods for the localization of national standard dance.The first part of the text elaborates on the origin and development of national standard dance in China.The second part takes the collision and fusion of Eastern and Western cultures as the starting point of the national standard dance,and analyzes the artistic performance dance products under the combination of Chinese and Western cultures.The third part analyzes the localized elements reflected in the five artistic performance dance works from three aspects: material selection,dance elements,and music and clothing.The fourth part starts from the experience and practice of dance performances,discussing the character image shaping of dancers,the application of props,and the vocabulary.
