The Queer theory originated from the study of homosexuality, but it is different from it.It has gone through the process of stigmatization and de stigmatization, and has developed into an umbrella like term that covers all marginalized groups in culture, advocating for the voice and discourse rights of marginalized and aphasic groups. The Queer theory has no fixed definition or reference, and all attempts to define "Queer" are limiting the potential of the Queer theory. As an emerging theoretical model,it opposes the binary opposition model with a clear attitude, changes people’s traditional thinking, and considers diversity and social diversity at the levels of subject, gender, identity, etc.,making humanistic society more inclusive, diverse, and flexible, providing a paradigm for creating a more fair, just, harmonious, and equal society.First of all,in the introduction, the thesis makes a literature review of Judith Butler and Queer’s theory respectively. The text is divided into five parts. The first part summarizes the origins of Butler and the theory of queer,as well as the process of stigmatization and decontamination of queer theory. At the same time,it introduces Butler’s research direction and explains the proposal, development, and direction of her theory of queer. The second part to the fourth part discusses the three major systems of Judith Butler’s queer theory: subject, gender and identity.Starting from the three major theories of subject, gender and identity,it details the main points of Judith Butler’s queer theory. The second part focuses on the theory of subjectivity, tracing the theoretical origins of Butler’s subjectivity and her subjectivity and its impact on Queer’s theory. The third part,on the basis of the first two parts, discusses Butler’s gender theory from the perspective of gender, that is,exposes the illusion of gender norms.Gender actually originates from cultural construction, which is a reality that can be modified. The heterosexuality hegemony in social norms is a means to cover up and consolidate gender norms, and the gender of queer groups has become a powerful tool for de naturalization. The fourth part, from the perspective of the body, explores Butler’s view that the gender oriented body is actually the essence of construction.Butler believes that identity is limited within the style of physical expression, and experiences dressing up,acting, and parody to seek ways to break through identity, expressing the diverse identity demands of the queer group.Judith Butler’s queer theoretical system, with life as the core, subject theory as the philosophical basis, and practice as the operational logic, deeply focuses on the marginal others excluded, denied, and obliterated by various social normative subjects and hegemonic discourse, speaks for the marginal and minority groups, and focuses on the fragile and restless life excluded by political subjects,Elevate the Queer theory to a new level of bioethics. |
