Study On Yueyan Yang,the Inheritor Of Dong Pipa Song In Gaibao

Dong pipa song spreads in Liping County,southeastern Guizhou,which is also known as Shangzhong Pipa song,Fouty-eight counties pipa song,Wan county pipa song,Gulan pipa song,Five strings pipa song etc.This research takes a case study of Yang Yueyan who is the inheritor of Dong pipa song,to investigate the cultural activities that she involved in.This study firstly introduces the origins and characteristics of Dong pipa song in Gaibao.It also analyses Yang Yueyan’s learning experiences,her vocal style and her social impact.It is found that Yang masters the traditional singing skills of Dong pipa song while developing her own uniqueness.She also makes great impacts on inheriting Dong pipa song.Secondly,this study investigated the show places where Yang performed and the target people who learn Dong pipa song from her.Thirdly,this paper discussed the innovations that Yang have made on the basis of tradiontal perforaming style,which promotes the inheritance and devleopment of Dong pipa song in Gaibao.Yang has contributed to expanding social influences of pipa song by frequently participating in inheriting activities including cultual exchange,Pipa song enters the campus,perforamances and media shows.Although inheritors of Dong authorities.they are facing the inheritance problems such as the lost of local dialect,aging of audiences,the weakened protection consciousness of the inheritors becauze of their multi identities,cultural shock from outside,few inheritors from next generation and so forth.This paper provids suggustion on protecting inheritos of Dong pipa song accordingly.
