With the popularity of mobile applications and the increasing demand for application interface design from users,animation,as an important factor in user experience design,has received more and more attention from developers and users.Animation not only enhances the usability and aesthetics of application products,but also has a positive impact on users’ emotions.This paper introduces psychological theory and booster theory to examine users’ needs from an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary perspective,and investigates the booster effect of animation on emotions through literature research and data analysis combined with concrete practice.This study compares the origin and classification of animation,summarizes the existing kinetic design specifications and analyzes the impact of animation on emotions.It also analyzes the value of animation in user experience and the application of boosting theory in animation,and summarizes the mechanism of animation on emotion by combining the level of emotional experience and actual product cases.The research found that animation can enhance users’ comprehension and satisfy users’ emotional experience,and that animation has similarities with the "gentle tyranny" advocated by nudging theory,in that it intervenes in user emotions in a subtle or even imperceptible way.It was then found that the impact mechanism of animation on emotions is multifaceted.Based on theoretical knowledge and practical case analysis,a feasibility strategy analysis for emotion nudging with animation in UX design was formed,and this feasibility strategy was applied to animation in different dimensions and usage scenarios in specific applications.The emotional nudging effect of animation was validated through practical verification,and it was concluded that animation has an emotion nudging effect,which can enhance user emotional participation,help users better understand and experience the value of products,and enrich sensory and emotional experiences.This article attempts to enrich case-based research in user experience design from an interdisciplinary perspective,through a combination of theory and practice.
