Creating a visual super symbol for rural tourism brands can not only promote the development of local economy,but also achieve a positive response to government policies.Super symbol is a symbol that people remember,are familiar with and like.It contains the largest,strongest and most accurate information and has strong guiding power for people’s behavior.In recent years,more and more researches have been done on super symbol at home and abroad.Super brand can be obtained by grafting super symbol to brand,and the development of brand cannot be separated from the escort of super symbol.People have five senses: sight,hearing,smell,taste and touch,which are also the five sources of super symbols.This paper mainly studies visual symbols.In the process of brand communication,the power of words is far less than that of visual symbols,which are easier to become the focus of people’s attention.There are many cases about super symbol at home and abroad,and they are used successfully.How to properly use the super symbol,so that the super symbol for brand development is the focus of this paper.With the help of field research,literature review and other research methods,guided by relevant theories of branding and semiotics,the author summarized the application rules of super symbols in brands,integrated unique local cultural resources,created unique visual super symbols for Persimmon Hong ideal Village,and promoted brand design to help rural revitalization.
