Keemun Black Tea·Chinese Aroma was jointly planned and filmed by Anhui Radio and Television Station and the Propaganda Department of the Qimen County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China,and the film crew visited many countries and regions such as the United Kingdom,the United States,and Japan,and took three years to complete the documentary.The Keemun black tea is a kind of famous tea in China,the best of black tea,enjoying a high reputation,ranking first among the three high-fragrant teas in the world.This documentary is selected to look back the rise and fall of Chinese tea industry,and find the unremitting spiritual power of Chinese tea people,which is helpful to spread Chinese tea culture,enhance frequent exchanges of international tea culture,and improve China’s soft power.This interpreting practice report aims to discuss the loss of information in consecutive interpreting.The documentary contains classical Chinese and four-character structures,as well as long sentences which can cause information density.Through practice,it can be found that the main reasons for the loss of information are information intensity;too much reliance on notes;digital listening and analyzing barrier;lack of information integration ability,etc.The following solutions are proposed for these three main reasons,including deverbalization;forming picture memory and reducing the pressure of note-taking;strengthening digital training and shifting focus;grasping keywords and activating long-term memory,etc.Solutions are proposed in this consecutive interpreting practice report through analyzing the loss of information.It is hoped that this interpreting practice can provide some help and guidance for the interpreting practice of similar documentaries in the future. |
