| The title of this thesis is a study on the dating of bronze artifacts during the reign of King Zhao of Zhou. Therefore,it is necessary to first conduct a study on the dating of the former, and then explore relevant historical events on the basis of the former. The author hopes to further understand the appearance of the bronze ware during the reign of King Zhao through dating research, and to grasp its relevant characteristics, which can help identify which artifacts are from the reign of King Zhao from unknown ages, and provide reference for future dating of the bronze ware of King Zhao of Zhou. The author selected 100 sets of bronze artifacts from various materials as the research object of this paper, including the less controversial Southern Expedition Jingchu bronze artifacts and the more controversial Wang Jiang,Wang Si,and Bo Maofu related artifacts. The focus of this article is to further differentiate and analyze the latter, clarify the age of these bronze artifacts, which is a problem that needs to be solved. This article mainly uses the standard dating method to conduct research on the 100 selected sets of bronze ware, combining other conditions such as the characteristics of inscriptions, patterns, and combinations of objects, and drawing on various research methods already available from various schools. The paper is divided into four parts:introduction, six chapters in the main text, six groups of bronze age discrimination, and related historical research, appendix, and reference materials. The first part of the introduction is described in three parts:an overview of the research on bronze dating during the reign of King Zhao of Zhou, the selection of research materials for the paper, the research methods, structure, and significance of the topic. The second part of the main text is divided into the Southern Expedition Jingchu Group,Wang Jiang and Wang Zaobao Group, the Expedition Moufang Group,Wang Si Group,Bo Maofu and the Expedition Dongyi Group, and other groups, which are described in six chapters and six groups. In each chapter, research is conducted based on the shapes and inscriptions of artifacts, information on their dissemination or excavation, patterns and decorations of artifacts, size of artifacts, age analysis of artifacts, and related historical events.A summary is attached at the end of each chapter. The appendix of the third part is a representative of various bronze artifacts. Finally, there are references for this article.Through the study of six chapters and six groups of bronze ware, the conclusion drawn in this article can be divided into two categories. One is the characteristics of the bronze ware during the reign of King Zhao of Zhou:the abdomen of the artifacts during this period was often bulging.Make some unique designs on common utensils. The combination of Zunyou or Zunfang Yi is prevalent.Paired Ding or Gui are commonly used. The decoration of utensils is popular in a minimalist style, with plain or only string patterns throughout the body, and bird pattern decoration is also common; The second is the related historical events reflected in the bronze inscriptions. The Southern Expedition of King Zhao of Zhou to Jingchu was a reliable reliable source of historical information, and there had been events related to the province of Nanguo before the Southern Expedition.King Zhao of Zhou once ordered the Southern Palace to attack the Tiger Fang, but the new Wei Hu Ming Jackal Fang revealed that the target of the Southern Palace’s attack may not be the Tiger Fang. After the death of King Zhao of Zhou during his Southern Expedition,a rebellion by the Eastern barbarians occurred. |
