"Silence Speaks Louder Than Words":A Study On The Creation Of Hearing-Impaired Picture Books

The 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)pointed out that our country’s special education should be developed by Pratt & Whitney.Picture books are excellent reading material for hearing-impaired children.However,the overseas hearing-impaired subject matter picture book is relatively perfect,more abundant,and the social attention is relatively high.In contrast,our country’s theoretical research started late,the original works are also less.However,with the rapid growth of social concern in the past five years,the special children’s demand for picture books is increasingly apparent,our country’s special children’s picture books have begun to flourish.On the basis of image narration,this paper analyzes the particularity of the hearing-impaired subject picture books from the author’s point of view,through literature review,image analysis and so on.In this study,we consulted a large number of hearing impairment picture books at home and abroad,and combed the existing classification of Hearing Impairment Picture Books.The following points should be paid attention to in the creation of hearing-impaired thematic picture books.The rich theme types of hearing-impaired picture books.To make full use of visual language to enable the creation of hearing impairment theme picture books,such as artistic synaesthesia,figurative Lenovo,character vision,art healing,etc.In the context of image narration,the pictorial representation of hearing-impaired theme picture books should conform to deaf culture,including grammar,metaphor and so on.Fourth,through personal project practice to enhance the identification of the role,sign language elements of the complete expression of the picture book should be incorporated elements of deaf culture.This paper sums up and summarizes the universality and pertinence that should be paid attention to in the creation of picture books on hearing impairment,and probes into the empowerment of picture books on special subjects for the growth of children with hearing impairment,so as to contribute to the development of picture books on hearing impairment in our country,explore the research perspective and more possibilities of picture book art creation.
