| Song Ci represent the highest literary achievement of the Song dynasty and are the aesthetic imprint of an era with a large number of depictions of artefacts.Song Ci are one of the most important literary genres in Chinese literature and the most representative literary form of the Song dynasty.With their simplicity,artistry and wide circulation,they reflect the social and cultural environment of the Song dynasty and the production and living conditions of the people of that time.The design ideas contained in the common utensils in Song Ci provide a theoretical basis and practical reference for tracing the origins of traditional Chinese design from both theoretical and practical perspectives.The article is divided into five parts: Chapter 1,the Introduction,focuses on the purpose and significance of the study and introduces the current state of research at home and abroad;Chapter 2,Statistics and Classification of Common Artifacts in Song Ci,presents statistics and classifies the depiction of artifacts in Song Ci from the reign of Song Renzong,and statistics of the common utensils according to their functions;Chapter 3,Comparison of Images of Common Artifacts in Song Ci,analyses the specific morphological characteristics of Song artifacts to discuss the design aesthetic ideas of the Song dynasty;Chapter 4 presents a full-view image of common utensils in Song Ci,analysing the craft forms of common utensils in the lyrics and presenting their full-view images;Chapter 5 analyses and summarises the design ideas of common utensils in Song Ci and draws conclusions related to understanding the Song dynasty’s thinking on object-making. |
