Adolescence is an unavoidable topic in the course of an individual’s life. The diverse youthful demeanor provides filmmakers with rich creative inspiration. The film screen has become a direct window to explore the growth theme of youth groups.Campus youth films are one of the narrative films that showcase the daily lives of youth groups in a specific space on campus, and hold a certain share in the film market. However, the production model of low investment and high return has led to a trend towards homogeneity in the narrative structure and characterization of most films.Since the new era, campus youth movies have increasingly deeply demonstrated the complex and tangled psychological state of adolescent growth, exploring various expressions of campus youth movies, and displaying the appearance of current adolescents. This article uses literature analysis, case studies, and the practical creation of the graduation work "Forever Youth" to classify the growth narrative of campus youth movies. The first chapter is an introduction, and the second chapter defines the concept of "campus youth film".By analyzing the creative patterns of campus youth films in different periods,it summarizes the theme content and the shaping rules of youth roles, aiming to guide the practical creation of films on the basis of theoretical exploration. The third chapter, based on the cultural context of the new era, analyzes the confusion faced by youth growth, and explores the narrative strategies of campus youth movies. The fourth chapter classifies and summarizes the image style and audio-visual language of campus youth films to enhance their appeal. The fifth chapter emphasizes the practical significance of campus youth movies, and points out the importance of guiding the healthy growth of teenagers based on the current situation.
