Study On Painting Language Of Realistic Watercolor Figure Painting

Throughout the picture of the social life of the Chinese people in the new era,the concept of "people-oriented" social development is more prominent,and contemporary young people show more pure personality expression and pursuit in this free and inclusive society,which interprets the richer beauty of youth.Realistic watercolor figure painting pays special attention to the expression of the character’s heart and spirit,and then shows the youth beauty of the character.In the creation of watercolor figure painting,the expression of painting language conveys the style of the work.In order to express a painting language,artists need to use appropriate techniques to express the visual image,as well as the elements that make up the image,such as composition,color,light and shade,brush strokes and texture.The study of painting language is not only conducive to the excavation of the image of works and the guidance of creation,but also has extensive significance for painters to create works of art that show the nature of the times.This paper mainly analyzes and studies the painting language of realistic watercolor figure painting,through the analysis of the composition,space,color,techniques and other painting language in the watercolor figure works of the painters Andrew Wyeth and Guan Weixing.Learn and apply to their own creation to depict young women in their youth as the main body of painting,under the guidance of their understanding of youth and attitude towards life,give full play to the advantages of watercolor compatibility,vivid charm and unique techniques of watercolor painting.Use keen eyes to freeze the vivid and natural expression of the characters,express the inner world of the characters,and convey the thoughts and feelings of some young people today.In this paper,the first chapter describes the graduation topic and creative research plan;the second chapter mainly analyzes and studies the representative works of Andrew Wyeth and Guan Weixing watercolor figure painting,and expounds the painting language and form characteristics of their works.summed up the painters have very personal characteristics of the painting language style.The third chapter focuses on the creative ideas and process of graduation creation,and introduces in detail the application of watercolor figure painting in the following three aspects: the expression of composition and space,the expression of color and tone,and the application of dry and wet techniques.Finally,it summarizes the conclusions drawn in the creative process of learning and using for reference.
