A Study On The Decorative Painting Language Of Contemporary Female Themes

Female subject matter is an important subject matter in Chinese meticulous figure painting.If the painting Dragon and Phoenix on silk in Changsha’s Warring States and Chu Tombs is the earliest existing meticulous figure painting with female subject matter,then the existence of female meticulous figure painting has a history of at least 2,200 years.The "thin bones and clear images" of the Ladies of the Six Dynasties,the "plump and gorgeous" of the Sui,Tang,and Five Dynasties’ Ladies,the "dignified and beautiful" of the Song and Yuan dynasties’ Ladies,and the "clear and sorrowful demeanor" of the Ming and Qing dynasties’ Ladies have always been permeated by decorative painting language,becoming a tool for painters to pursue artistic conception and express emotions.Under the collision of contemporary Chinese and Western cultural exchanges,female-themed paintings have only increased,and the expression forms of decorative painting language have gradually diversified.The application of decorative painting language is the concrete expression of the painter’s aesthetic value,the spirit of The Times and the harmony and unity of national traditions,improves the expressive force and emotional connotation of painting works,and promotes the development of Chinese meticulous figure painting.Therefore,it is of theoretical value and practical significance to strengthen the research on the practical creation of decorative painting language of female meticulous brushwork figures.The research content of this paper focuses on the contemporary,with decorative painting language as the starting point,to analyze and discuss the representative female theme meticulous figure painting works.The first part begins with the concept of decorative painting language and introduces the development of decorative painting language in female theme meticulous figure painting.The second part specifically discusses the expression form and aesthetic value of decorative painting language such as composition,modeling and color in contemporary female themed works.The emotional expression and artistic innovation of decorative painting language in contemporary female theme meticulous figure painting are deeply explored.These new forms of expression and artistic styles have influenced the development of Chinese meticulous figure painting and injected a new era style for meticulous figure painting.The third part takes graduation creation as an example,expounds the practical application of decorative painting language in personal creation,summarizes my own creative experience,analyzes the application of decorative painting language in my own works,and then summarizes my creative experience,providing reference for future creative research.
