Abstract/Summary:
Bas-reliefs on Precipices is one of the important forms of Buddhist sculpture,is an important part of the content of Buddhist sculpture,and is an important carrier of Buddhism dissemination and enlightenment.Daqingshan in Inner Mongolia is the name of the middle part of Yinshan Mountain.In the history of our country,farming economy and nomadic economy mingled and communicated in this area.All ethnic groups in the north and all ethnic groups in the Central Plains frequently carried out different forms of exchanges and exchanges here,of course,there were conflicts and collisions,so it has also become an important area for cultural diversification and geographical communication.The relics unearthed in this area and the remains on the ground provide examples of the cultural blending of the diverse cultures in this area.Similarly,the characteristics of multicultural integration are also reflected in the cliff statues of Daqingshan Mountain in Inner Mongolia.At present,there is no systematic study on cliff statues of Daqingshan Mountain in Inner Mongolia in academic circles,so this paper makes a relatively comprehensive collection and arrangement of cliff statues of Daqingshan Mountain in Inner Mongolia,and carries out a more in-depth analysis: Through systematic data collection,image comparison and archeological typology analysis,the cliff statues in Daqingshan,Inner Mongolia are classified and studied,and the cliff statues are divided into three stages: Yuan,Ming and Qing.Through comparative analysis with Buddhist statues,murals and other cultural relics in this region and other regions,the development and evolution law of cliff statues is explored,and it is learned that the evolution of cliff statues has experienced the process of the initial stage-development-peak of the integration of Han,Mongolia and Tibet,and further learned that the evolution of cliff statues is closely related to cultural communication activities.Through the study of the cliff statues of Daqingshan Mountain in Inner Mongolia,we know that the cliff statues of Daqingshan Mountain in Inner Mongolia have the artistic characteristics of Tibetan Buddhism,but also integrate the elements of Chinese Buddhism,and have a localized Mongolian modeling characteristics.It reflects the spread of Buddhism in the region,as well as the exchange and integration of different cultures.It shows that the cliff statues of Daqingshan Mountain in Inner Mongolia are the result of the collision,fusion and sublimation of multi-ethnic cultures,and provide evidence for the multi-integrated cultural pattern.
