| Since the new century,with the development of social economy,political change and popularization of mass culture,the overall development process of the film industry market has been accelerated,and documentary films have developed rapidly and gradually returned to the cinema.Documentary film aesthetic characteristics are complex,many aesthetic ideas intertwine.The concept of documentary film aesthetics not only has new changes,but also reflects certain rules: the concept of documentary aesthetics gradually fades out of the screen and then returns to the trend;Documentary film drama aesthetics flourishing;With the strong rise of technical aesthetics,more directors pay attention to the convenience brought by technical aesthetics.By combing the development course of Chinese documentary films since the new century,this paper makes an in-depth study of the aesthetic concept of documentary films.It tries to explore the factors that influence the development of documentary film aesthetics and summarize the basic law of its development.This paper aims to provide a factual basis for the objective evaluation of the development achievements of documentary films since the new century,to better balance the social value and economic value of documentary films,and to provide reference suggestions for the sound and rapid development of documentary films.The main body of this paper consists of four parts.The first part summarizes the basic appearance of Chinese documentary films after entering the new century,and shows the development status of documentary films from three aspects: The creation subject is diversified,the subject matter is more novel,the distribution method is more diversified,and a large number of cases are used to illustrate the development trend,which is a logical starting point for this paper to explore the aesthetic concept of Chinese documentary films after entering the new century.The second part summarizes the aesthetic characteristics and development trend of Chinese documentary films after entering the new century,and gives examples of documentary films in this period to demonstrate.Documentary aesthetics weakened from extinction to gradual return.Dramatic aesthetics is flourishing,and narrative strategies such as scene reproduction,character typification and story expression are widely used.With the strong rise of technical aesthetics,documentary film production began to take the initiative to adapt to cinema technical standards and reconstruct scene-oriented audio-visual experience.The third part further analyzes the factors affecting the development of documentary film aesthetic concept,and discusses from three aspects,namely,the development of market economy,the national policy support and the progress of film production technology.The development of market economy plays a decisive role in the production of documentary films.National policy support has injected vitality and pointed out the direction for the development of documentary films and expanded the space for high-quality development of documentary films.The progress of film production technology has brought a lot of convenience to the filming,production,projection and dissemination of documentary films,which has greatly promoted the development process of documentary films.The fourth part summarizes and reflects on the aesthetic concept of documentary films since the new century based on the above analysis.This paper discusses the relationship between documentary film’s real and artistic attributes,cultural and entertainment attributes,social and economic benefits,etc.It puts forward that documentary film should put its own function of social education and propaganda in the first place,and take spreading Chinese excellent culture and telling Chinese stories as its own duty.Documentary film creators should change their creative thinking,take the initiative to adapt to the needs of the audience and the law of the market,create film works that the audience is pleased with,obtain better economic returns,and achieve sound development. |
