On The Family Narrative In Tian Zhonghe’s Novels

Tian Zhonghe is a writer born in the 1840 s.In his decades of creative career,he has always adhered to the position of human nature and humanistic care,and constantly explores in themes,structures and other aspects.Tian Zhonghe relies on his own family and integrates into his personal understanding of life.While telling the story of the family,he also has a deeper reflection on the modernization process of the Chinese nation.The narrative works of the Tian Zhonghe’s family are based on several novels published in the second decade of the 21 st century,such as Seventeen Years Old,Father and Them.In these works,the writer combines his own life experience and writes the story of personal growth,the life experience and fate of intellectuals,and the search for the truth of the family’s past from the perspective of a member of the family.In these works,Tian Zhonghe always writes the family story from a personal standpoint.Through the discussion of his family narrative model and the art world,he shows the core concept of the writer’s literary creation.Focusing on the family narrative,the thesis mainly uses the methods of text careful reading and inductive analysis to study the family narrative in Tian Zhonghe’s novels.First of all,we trace the reasons why Tian Zhonghe chose the family narrative for his work,qualify the meaning of Tian Zhonghe’s family narrative,and describe its characteristics.Secondly,the family narrative model is a long-term development process.By sorting out the family narrative modes in typical Chinese literary works,this paper analyzes Tian Zhonghe’s inheritance and innovation of the previous narrative modes,which are mainly manifested in the growth mode,marriage mode and runaway mode.Focusing on Tian Zhonghe’s construction of his family narrative art world,through the analysis of the novel ’s changeable family narrative perspective,different family narrative structure and diverse family narrative language,it shows the uniqueness of Tian Zhonghe’s family narrative.Finally,in terms of content,he connects the personal with the historical and combines the real with the fictional;in terms of ideology,he shows the writer’s concern for the fate of the individual and the pursuit of the essence of literature.At the same time,for the whole literary world,Tian Zhonghe’s different description of the family narrative also has a certain exemplary significance for the current literary creation related to the family.
