Application Research Of Cultural Gene Mapping In Urban Sculpture In Baoji,Shaanxi Province

“A side water and soil raise a party person.” Different cities have different cultural styles and aesthetic trends.Therefore,the theme chosen for urban sculpture art should be closely related to the culture of the city.Urban sculpture is the external representation of urban culture,with the functions of beautifying the environment,transmitting culture,and showing art.In the process of cultural evolution,some new interdisciplinary concepts have emerged,and "cultural genes" is one of the more representative ones,which is accepted and recognized by more and more scholars.This paper first defines cultural genes and urban sculpture,compares the relevant studies on cultural genes theory and urban sculpture at home and abroad,takes urban sculpture as the research object,and from the perspective of cultural genes,systematically analyzes the current situation of urban sculpture at all levels based on the in-depth investigation of Baoji culture and urban sculpture,and identifies,extracts and categorizes the cultural resources of Baoji.Secondly,through the sorting of Baoji culture,it comes up with ways in which the cultural elements can be reasonably materialized and regenerated in urban sculpture so that the cultural genes of thousands of years of history can be noticed and recognized by the public.Whats more,the article starts from the sculptures material carrier and cultural connotation,and the cultural genes are identified and refined to form the cultural gene map of Baoji.Thirdly,through direct borrowing and the DNA shape grammar method,urban culture is integrated into the design of the urban sculpture,providing a new path for the creation of urban sculpture and laying a theoretical foundation for urban sculpture design research.Finally,the practical case analysis based on the creation of Baojis "Zou Sifang" sculpture is not only instructive for practical application but also can further optimize the method through practical results.The thesis further explores and promotes cultural resources by studying the application of Baoji cultural genes in urban sculpture and the innovation of creative forms.The city culture can form a variety of expressive possibilities in the creation of sculpture and become one of the important ways to draw on contemporary cultural inheritance.
