Texture mapping is more and more widely used in the 3D reconstruction of cultural relics.In the actual process of texture mapping of 3D cultural relics,there are problems such as low texture mapping efficiency and gaps in the mapping results,which greatly reduces the fidelity of 3D cultural relic models.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study high-quality seamless texture mapping.The main work and results of this thesis are as follows:(1)Aiming at the practical problems such as large errors and low computational efficiency in the matching of 2D images when reconstructing them into 3D point clouds,a 3D image reconstruction algorithm based on feature extraction based on improved accelerated nonlinear diffusion(AKAZE)algorithm was used.Firstly,a nonlinear scale space model is constructed to extract image features,and the Fast Retina Keypoint(FREAK)descriptor is used to describe the image features;then a maximum inter-class variance method based on angle constraints is used to eliminate image mismatch points;Finally,the multi-view image3 D reconstruction is carried out according to the transformation relationship.The experimental results show that the algorithm in this paper increases the number of extracted feature points,and at the same time improves the feature matching efficiency through the false matching elimination algorithm.(2)Aiming at the problems that the traditional texture mapping technology based on image sequence tends to select images with insufficient texture information and there are gaps in the texture mapping results,a seamless texture mapping optimization algorithm based on image sequence is used.Firstly,the best texture image is selected for each triangular patch;secondly,the texture data stored in the texture image mapping process is simplified;finally,the global and local color adjustment methods are used to eliminate texture gaps,and high-quality seamless texture image mapping results are obtained.The experimental results show that the algorithm in this paper selects the optimal texture image and eliminates the texture gap well.(3)Based on the above algorithm,a three-dimensional cultural relic texture mapping system is built.Through the input of multi-angle images,the system realizes the functions of sparse point cloud reconstruction,dense point cloud reconstruction,mesh model reconstruction and texture mapping of images,and also realizes the output,display and interaction functions of 3D models.
