Study On The Dance Culture Of The Xiketelihala Shaman Sacrificial Ritual

Manchu is an ethnic group with profound history and culture,which contains unique ethnic culture and art in the historical changes and cultural inheritance.As a representative of many art forms,the Manchu shaman sacrificial culture confirms the development and historical changes of the Manchu ethnic group.In northeast China lies Jilin Province,the place of origin for Manchu culture,still maintaining a relatively intact and active shaman ritual custom.The Xiketeli clan,situated within the bounds of Jiutai District in Jilin Province,possesses a deep Shaman cultural history and serves as the quintessential representative of Manchu shaman dance,continuing its inheritance through an active mode,with its exceptional dance style capturing the attention of many scholars.The present study conducts a case study on the shaman dance of the Xiketeli family,exploring the cultural significance lying behind the transformation of Manchu shaman dance through practical research,such as fieldwork,data collection,and motion analysis,from the vantage points of dance anthropology and dance ecology,hence lending a hand to its present-day development.This paper will be written in the following four sections:Research summary: Through the historical origin of Xiketelihala dance,explore the development history of Xiketelihala dance and the research status at home and abroad;Exploring the ancient and knowing the present: This chapter uses the practical application of field investigation and literature collection to sort out the historical development of the Xiketelihala sacrificial ritual dance,and uses the anthropological method to explore the changes of the dance and the application of dance in the specific sacrificial ceremony;Dance: starting from the dance itself,summarizing the movement characteristics and the cultural implication of the dance,aiming at the expression and application of basic cultural elements;Dance and dance: Starting from the function of Xiketelihala ritual dance,the transformation of the four functions is summarized and demonstrated,and the historical,regional and ethnic cultural connotation behind the transformation of Xiketelihala ritual dance is explored.
