Application Of “Oracle Bone Inscriptions” In Visual Display Design

With its unique oriental charm and profound historical and cultural heritage,Chinese traditional culture has become a solid foundation for us to adhere to cultural self-confidence.As the earliest Chinese character structure found so far,oracle bone script is the crystallization of ancient people’s writing creation,it is with the gradual evolution of oracle bone script that there is today’s Chinese character system,which shows that oracle bone script is indeed the initial source of the development of Chinese characters,but also the specific manifestation of the wisdom of predecessors,which has high historical and cultural value and artistic aesthetic significance.Under the new situation today,with the gradual increase in China’s attention to excellent traditional culture,how to inherit and innovate excellent traditional culture more reasonably has also become the general consensus and ardent wish of people of insight from all walks of life.As the origin of Chinese characters,oracle bone script should be highly valued by contemporary society,and it should be effectively inherited,protected and activated.In order to better promote the protection and activation of oracle bone culture,this research project conducts an in-depth analysis and preliminary research on the structure and morphology of oracle bone text.By extracting the basic characteristics and structure of Oracle,and trying to explore the profound cultural and visual significance behind Oracle from the perspective of art design.This paper deeply analyzes and summarizes the trajectory of the historical evolution of oracle bone through literature review method,case analysis method and field research method,and conducts a basic rational combing of its relationship with the evolution logic of Chinese characters,focusing on the cultural attributes of oracle bone and its morphological visual characteristics,on this basis,the excavated oracle bone morphological elements are extracted,summarized and refined,and then deconstructed and reconstructed,and the reconstructed graphical visual morphological elements are implanted into modern display design.And with the Oracle Museum cultural and creative visual display area as the main body,combined with modern and contemporary art and design aesthetic language,shape a cultural display space with unique aesthetic characteristics of the East,and make it a visual form structure in the visual display space,implant these unique visual forms of the East into the display space,highlight the high integration of traditional cultural elements and modern aesthetic design techniques,and at the same time,broaden the commercial circulation channels and circulation caliber through the development and utilization of a series of Oracle cultural and creative research and innovation.Explore the cultural spillovers that historical artifacts carry.Continuously strengthen the historical existence value of Oracle and the cultural connotation of the times.In this way,a new activation path is found for the protection,inheritance,development and utilization of the oracle bone paleography system.It provides more diversified visual expression language for modern visual display design carriers,and tries to explore the oriental visual context of modern design with typical traditional Chinese cultural characteristics from the aesthetic level.
