A Study On The Storytelling Narration Of Documentaries On Intangible Cultural Heritage Of Techniques

Intangible cultural heritage shows the infinite creativity of human beings.It is the product gradually created by human beings in the long history,the crystallization of human civilization and wisdom.Handicraft intangible cultural heritage is an important part of intangible cultural heritage.In recent years,the acceleration of industrialization and changes in people’s lifestyles have continuously squeezed the living space of handicraft intangible cultural heritage.Some handicraft intangible cultural heritage is facing a crisis of extinction.Protection and inheritance Handicraft intangible cultural heritage is imminent.The documentary reproduces the past and present of the intangible cultural heritage in the form of audio-visual combination,tells the stories of the inheritors of the intangible cultural heritage who stick to their skills and inherit the intangible cultural heritage,shows the cultural value behind the intangible cultural.In the new media environment,the traditional propaganda and preaching documentary form has been difficult to meet the growing aesthetic needs of the public,and more and more creators are applying story-based narrative methods to intangible cultural heritage documentaries.The story-based narrative of handicraft intangible cultural heritage documentaries refers to the use of story-based narrative methods,and the use of suspense,conflict and other dramatic means to enhance the storytelling and drama of the documentary content.The story-based narrative enriches the expression form of handicraft intangible cultural heritage documentaries and meets the aesthetic needs of the public.The story-based narrative should focus on visual language,record real intangible cultural heritage stories with long shots,highlight the charm of intangible cultural heritage details with close-ups,introduce the background of intangible cultural heritage stories with empty shots,and use picture colors to metaphor the theme of stories.Supplemented by auditory language,synchronous sound,commentary and background music work together to assist visual language to tell stories about intangible cultural heritage.The editing language should be used to finish the final work,the logic between shots should be used to control the rhythm of the story,and the narrative montage should be used to complete the story telling.Story-based narrative needs to set up suspense to enhance the drama of the documentary,details constitute the storyline,and the empathetic part of story-based narrative is often the presentation of details.The story-based narrative of documentaries cannot be separated from suspense and details.Suspense enhances the drama of documentaries,while details form the plot.The use of narrative techniques can enhance the storytelling.This article combines the excellent documentaries broadcast on various platforms and my graduation work "Shou Yi-Liu Yueqing and Handmade Grates" to discuss the storytelling of handicraft intangible cultural heritage documentaries,hoping to expand the research value of intangible cultural heritage documentary storytelling.Research can arouse the society’s attention to the intangible cultural heritage of handicrafts and inheritors,and promote excellent traditional culture.
