In the vast land of China,food culture has undergone thousands of years of origin and evolution.With the change of the times,food is not only a thing for human beings but also an internalized spiritual civilization and emotional maintenance.Food has long been integrated into the blood of the Chinese people as a symbol and a culture.People with an understanding of food,in the continuous attempt to seek the inspiration of transformation,pickled is a kind of food transformation.In the vast and profound development of food,China’s pickled culture is like a long history,constantly flowing with the waves of civilization,nourishing the Chinese people.To this day,these delicious foods,which have been re-made over time,still show attractive charm and affect the daily diet of Chinese people.The history of using vegetables to make pickles in China can be traced back to the Zhou Dynasty,about 3000 years ago.For thousands of years,Chinese people have uniquely expressed their love and respect for food.Sauce pickles lock the fresh food and the deep taste memory of the Chinese people.The documentary ’hundred-year Jizhou flavor’ is created with the theme of Yutang Sauce Garden,a pickle brewing brand.It explores and displays the historical context and cultural heritage behind the brand from the perspectives of brand culture,intangible cultural heritage skills,brewing collection,cultural blending,adaptation,and innovation.This paper mainly records and explains the documentary’s creative background,film structure,character image shaping,artistic processing,and specific shooting process.The thesis is mainly divided into three parts: the origin,creation process,and narrative concept of the documentary.The first part explains the basis and background of the topic selection of the work and systematically combs the development process and current situation of the non-heritage food documentary.In the second part,from the perspective of creative practice,the pre-production and post-shooting clips are sorted out,respectively.The third part expounds on the overall narrative concept of the documentary’ hundred-year Jizhou flavor.’ From the level of culture and communication path,the brand is deconstructed,from which the creative value of the work is perceived,and a series of experiences and deficiencies in the shooting process is summarized.
