Research On The Creative Strategy Of Literary Documentary Film

Documentary film is an art form that takes real people and events as the object of expression,uses real life as material,and uses video means to process and reproduce real life.After the reform and opening up,China ’s research on documentaries has also developed rapidly.Documentaries have gradually integrated into people ’s lives,become a part of popular culture,and enter a stage of diversified themes.As an important proposition,’ literature ’ has become an important direction for documentary creation and exploration.Since the emergence of documentaries,documentaries with literature as the theme have been everywhere.Nowadays,with people ’s attention to traditional culture,literary documentaries have become an annual cultural event of vane significance.Based on the excellent literary documentary and the practical experience of personal creation,this thesis discusses the creative strategies of literary documentary.Literary documentary film is a category of documentary.Firstly,starting from documentary and its basic concepts,this thesis summarizes the conceptual connotation of documentary,then summarizes the development process of literary documentary,and makes a basic definition of the concept of literary documentary : literary documentary is based on writers and literary works.On the basis of truly recording its writing process,it shows the relationship between writers ’ life stories and literary works,uses film and television art means to restore the thoughts and emotions displayed by literary works,realizes the cross-media integration of text media and film and television media,and shows the inherent humanistic connotation of literature.In order to achieve the type of documentary that shows the spirit of the times and causes the audience to think.Secondly,this thesis takes the general creation method of documentary as the theoretical basis,focuses on the excellent literary documentary works and personal graduation design shooting experience,and combines with the characteristics of literary documentary,so as to summarize the creation method of literary documentary : first,the theme expression of literary documentary returns to the humanistic spirit,and looks back at the literary world in the fast-paced life;the second is to integrate the spirit of the times into personal experience in narrative strategies,and show macro thoughts from small to large;third,in the expression of audio-visual language,we should pay attention to poetic expression and realize the concretization of literature.In a word,through the analysis of excellent literary documentaries and personal shooting experience,the author summarizes the methods of literary documentary creation from the perspectives of theme expression,narrative strategy and audio-visual language,in order to provide reference for the creation of literary documentaries in the future.
