Cheng Er is a very personal director.Although only three works have appeared in 19 years,his films can maintain a high standard and be innovative.They have both personalized artistic expressions and at the same time they can take into account the market.Demand,a balance between art and business,forms the characteristics of its unique film,and becomes a type conscious film creator in the context of consumerism.This article starts with Cheng Er's three works and studies its film style and creative characteristics.The uniqueness of Cheng Er's film is mainly reflected in the exploration of its subject content,the development of narrative strategy and the innovation of audiovisual means.The first chapter explains the theme meaning expressed by Cheng Er film,mainly from individual salvation and humanity.Disguise and emotional alienation are discussed in three aspects.Through their attention to social reality and reflection on human nature,the audience is considered to think about individual life.The second chapter analyzes the narrative strategy of Cheng Er film,from individualized narrative The narrative time of space and liberalization summarizes the personality characteristics of the narrative.The third chapter elaborates on the audiovisual language of Cheng Er film.The balanced symmetrical composition makes the film dignified and restrained.The voice of themartyrdom,and the expression of the strong emotions express rich emotions,creating a sensual atmosphere,making the film more full and vivid,expressive.Cheng Er's film always contains profound rational speculation.He focuses his attention on the survival and development of human beings,and actively observes the real life and explores the meaning of human existence and the value of life.In his film expression,he mostly looks at the outsider's attitude,does not participate too much in the narrative,and does not explicitly propose solutions to the problem in the film,but he provides the audience with a world-awareness.The new way to let the audience actively participate in thinking in the search,reflects his ultimate concern for people.
