In recent years,with the rapid development of new media platforms,the variety of documentaries has become more and more abundant,among which food micro-documentaries is one of the most popular types of documentaries.With the increasing number of food micro-documentaries,the problem of uneven quality has become more and more obvious.Therefore,to improve the quality of food micro-documentaries,this thesis will discuss the creation strategies of food micro-documentaries.Firstly,start from the concept of food micro-documentary,the development history of food micro-documentary is summarized.Food micro-documentary is also defined as: the type of documentary that takes food as the subject,records food and extends to the culture,people and events related to it,reflects certain thoughts and emotions through food in 25 minutes and has the form of complete documentary.Secondly,based on the related theoretical research of food micro-documentary,and the graduation work " Documentary of Gourmet Food ",we analyze the situation of current food micro-documentaries and point out their shortcomings,and then suggest the creation strategy of food micro-documentary in response to these shortcomings.The strategy mainly includes three aspects: the topic selection strategy of emphasizing both food and culture,the narrative strategy of combining food and story,and the audio-visual language strategy of presenting food in multiple dimensions.For the first strategy,the topic selection strategy of emphasizing both food and culture solves the problem of lacking cultural deposits,pointing out that food culture,market culture and regional culture can be integrated into the film while presenting food.For the second one,the strategy of narrating food and story together adopts storilized style to tell food stories.This strategy is then discussed from the selection of story materials,the application of plotting techniques and the scale of storytelling,respectively.For the third strategy,we construct the audio-visual language strategy of food micro-documentaries in three dimensions: picture dimension,sound dimension and special effects dimension.In conclusion,through a series of explorations on the creation of food micro-documentaries,the author has tailored the creation strategy for food micro-documentaries.This thesis will provide certain reference for enriching the connotation of food micro-documentaries and improving the quality of food micro-documentaries.
