Baojing Village is a Dong settlement with a history of more than 300 years and profound traditional culture,and is the traditional village with the most Dong characteristics in Beidong,Guizhou,containing rich ethnic cultural information.The Dong ethnic group is one of the most complete ethnic groups in China’s ethnic minority art category,and the study of black and white woodcuts with the theme of the Dong ethnic group is of great significance to understand the art and culture of China’s ethnic minorities.Through the analysis and field research of black and white woodcut works with the theme of the Dong ethnic group,the author starts from reality and its own emotions,combines theory and practice,uses the expression form of "black and white woodcut",explores the charm of Dong ethnic customs from the aspects of "theme","line","shape" and "black and white treatment",and reflects the ethnic culture,ethnic spirit and cultural connotation from the works.
