A Research On The Botanic Nomenclature Of Jinlong Miao Language

As an important part of the vocabulary system of Miao language,plant nouns can reflect the thinking consciousness of Miao ethnic group and contain rich cultural connotation,which has certain research value.Up to now,there are a lot of research results on plant nouns,but the research object is mainly Chinese,and the related research of Miao language is very few.This paper selects Jinlong dialect of Miao language as the investigation point,through field investigation and literature collation,a total of 300 plant nouns are collected and these 300 plant nouns are studied.The article is divided into five parts:The thesis mainly introduces the writing background of the article.It includes the purpose and significance of this study,the status quo of domestic and foreign research,research methods and corpus sources.The first chapter mainly divides the plant terms of Jinlong Dialect into three grades of folk genera,folk species and folk varieties according to folk classification.The ts???、nto???、pa?31、?au?3、m?a??3、tau2?、??au31/?a??3、t?hua31/kua?3、mple31、tau?3、?t?i?3、mplo?31、?o??3、qau2?、tl?a?u21and other classes.The second chapter mainly introduces the naming reasons and characteristics of plant nouns in Jinlong Dialect of Miao language.Its name is also influenced by sensory and non-sensory factors,but the choice of reasoning gives priority to differentiation rather than strictly following visual sense first,function second;In visual perception,form takes precedence;The law in which the shape features take precedence.Its naming has the characteristics of strong distinction,clear species,visual concreteness and complex rational data.The third chapter mainly analyzes the structure and semantics of plant nouns in Miao Jinlong Dialect.The structure of these plant nouns can be divided into two forms: simple words and compound words.Single-syllable words can be further divided into single-syllable words,two-syllable words and three-syllable words.Compound words include modifiers and adjuncts,mainly modifiers.The morphemes of modifiers can be noun morphemes,adjective morphemes and verbal morphemes.The rational meaning of most plant nouns is dominant and can be deduced directly from the morpheme meaning.The rational meaning of individual plant nouns is obscure,and there is no connection between rational meaning and morpheme meaning,which needs to be inferred by ethnic culture.There is no connection between the morphemes and rational meanings of some plant nouns.Some words have additional meanings.The conclusion part is the summary of the full text.
