A Study Of Transmedia Storytelling In The Script Murder Variety Show

Script murder variety show is a subdivision type of inference variety show.In recent years,it has gradually become an important program category popular among young audiences.In general,the script murder variety show forms borrow from the script murder games,absorbing the content from the suspense novels and emphasizing the sense of film,which makes up for the vacancy of Chinese reality show in the mystery type.Under the background of media convergence,script murder variety show has the dominant characteristics of transmedia storytelling.Therefore,it forms a narrative matrix centered on variety stories and spanning multiple media.This paper focuses on script murder variety shows,and studies its transmedia storytelling mode through case comparison and text analysis on the basis of a large number of literature research.This paper is divided into five chapters.The introduction part of the first chapter discusses the research background,significance and method of this paper,integrates relevant research results at home and abroad,and analyzes concepts such as "transmedia storytelling ".The second chapter sorts out the history and background of the script killing variety show,and analyzes the creative context of the script murder variety show.Chapters 3 to 5 analyze the cross-media narrative of script killing variety show from the perspectives of text construction,media expansion and cultural participation.After analysis,it can be seen that in terms of text construction,the "story world" of script murder variety show has the conditions of collaborative narration,so as to facilitate the extension and expansion.Nonlinear narration is an important narrative feature of it,and it also punishes evil-doers and encourages people to do good.In terms of media expansion,script murder show uses guests,scene props and audio-visual language as internal transmedia storytelling elements,while external transmedia storytelling presents the characteristics of diversified media forms and media construction ritualization.In terms of cultural participation,the audience of script murder variety show participate in the creation of content as "fans" and "consumers",and form a participatory culture under the carnival with fan activities and fan consumption.The second half of Chapter 5 points out the postmodern characteristics of transmedia storytelling in the script murder variety show,and the problems that may be brought about by the industrialization of aesthetic taste and narrative generalization.Finally,in the concluding part of this paper,it is concluded that the transmedia storytelling mode of script script murder variety shows is replicable and is a new idea for the creation and operation of domestic variety shows.However,how to grasp the depth of content and promote its sustainable and healthy development while entertaining is what many TV program creators should think about further.
