| The culture and personality school emphasizes individual factors and cultural factors,and believes that culture and personality influence each other.Self-esteem,as an important content of personality,will affect the development of personality,and it is also of great significance to the development of individual mental health.Middle school is a critical period for the development of an individual’s personality,and it is the middle school period.Culture influences the development of self-esteem,which in turn affects the formation of an individual’s personality.The area selected for the study is Xijiang Miao Village,which contains rich cultural resources and is known as "the world’s largest Miao Village",which has a relatively complete preservation of the local ethnic culture and the development of local tourism,which has had an impact on the development of people’s self-esteem.Based on the information available,the author studies the self-esteem characteristics of XJ Junior High School students from five aspects: the environment in which they were generated,fieldwork on self-esteem,the current status of self-esteem,factors affecting the development of self-esteem,and discussions on self-esteem suggestions for junior high school students in XJ Junior High School.Through the study,it is found that the self-esteem characteristics of XJ middle school junior high school students have the following characteristics: first,the interview content and results show that the junior high school students believe that their self-esteem level is affected by family,school,and social culture;Second,junior high school students’ explicit self-esteem level is lower than average,and under the influence of Xijiang Miaozhai’s collectivist culture,junior high school students do not evaluate themselves positively at the explicit level,and will adopt a more modest way to evaluate themselves.At the same time,the explicit self-esteem of junior high school students is specifically different,and the explicit self-esteem level of each grade is different.Third,at the implicit level,junior high school students are more willing to associate self-words with positive words and others with negative words,indicating that junior high school students evaluate themselves in their hearts than they evaluate others,and under the development of tourism in Xijiang Miaozhai,the level of individual self-esteem has been affected.Fourth,explicit self-esteem and implicit self-esteem are not related,and the two are relatively independent systems,that is,there will be inconsistencies between the level of explicit self-esteem and the level of implicit self-esteem of junior high school students.Based on this,the suggestions for self-esteem of junior high school students were discussed,first,teaching according to aptitude and respecting individual differences.Second,focus on yourself and enhance positive experiences. |
