There were six compilers of Wuzhong Story Depicting Humanity in the Ming Dynasty: Du Qiong,Wang Qi,Yang Xunji,Huang Luzeng,Wu Yufu,and Wang Yusheng.Among them,Du Qiong lived in the Hongwu and Chenghua years,Wang Qi was active in the Xuande and Hongzhi years,Yang Xunji,Huang Luzeng and Wu Yufu were mainly active in the Hongzhi and Jiajing years,and Wang Yusheng lived in the Jiajing and Wanli years.There are nine novels by Wu Zhongzhiren in the Ming Dynasty: Du Qiong’s "Ji Shanlu",Wang Qi’s "Yupu Zaji",Yang Xunji’s "Wuzhong Wangzheji","Wuzhong Guyu" and "Su Tan",Huang Luzeng’s "Xu Wuzhong Wangzheji","Xu Wuzhong Wangzheji Buyi",Wu Yufu’s "Shenye Zuanwen",and Wang Yusheng’s "Xu Zhenze Jiwen".The identity and background of the compilation of Wuzhong Story Depicting Humanity in the Ming Dynasty give the works a strong regional characteristic of Wuzhong.At present,it can be seen that there are multiple versions of the nine works,and different versions of the same novel have a inheritance relationship.Based on the combing of these novel versions,this paper then explores the similarities and differences between the six editors’ motivations and selection criteria.In terms of compilation motives,the authors’ consensus is "Bu Shique" and "Yang Xianxian",and there are also novels compiled for entertainment purposes and different motives for expressing personal feelings;The selection of materials is mainly based on the three aspects of Jingxiao Yangyi,Shuqi Zhiyi,and Mingjing Bushi.In addition,the specific classification and study of the characters in Wuzhong Story Depicting Humanity can be roughly classified into three categories: Shiyin people,virtuous martyrs,and eunuchs and eunuchs.The ideas of Wuzhong Story Depicting Humanity in the Ming Dynasty include three aspects: natural history,emphasis on merchants,and the convergence of the three religions,reflecting the distinctive regional characteristics of Wuzhong and the characteristics of the times.The literary characteristics of the novel are highlighted in the narrative art and the art of writing the work,and the thesis analyzes the narrative technique of the work and the shaping of the character image.The academic value of Wuzhong Story Depicting Humanity in the Ming Dynasty is mainly reflected in both literary value and documentary value,such as the compilation style of his "Shishu style" and the fact that the materials in the book are cited by later classics,histories,sub-books,and collections. |
