Research On Digital Expression Of Microbial Media In Interactive Installation Art

Due to the development of digital media art and technology,installation art is no longer limited to static,and interactive installation art has gained widespread attention.When audiences appreciate interactive installation art works,they not only focus on the visual presentation of the surface,but also have higher and higher requirements for the connotation of the works,so interactive installation art needs to find more entry points for creation.Microorganisms are closely related to life,and how to live in harmony with microorganisms is an important issue in the development process of human society.The novelty and strangeness brought by microbial media are more attractive than traditional media.In this context,the cross-border research between the two brings new inspiration for the creation of interactive installation art.The content of interactive installation artworks includes not only the visible physical part,but also the interaction between the artworks and the viewers.This interaction is both a behavioral interaction between the work and the viewer and a consciousness exchange between the viewer and the author,as well as a product of human-computer interaction,through which the viewer receives the concepts conveyed by the artist.The visual presentation and connotation of interactive installation art in the new media era are composed of both technology and media.The development of technology gives multiple perceptions to interactive installation art,while microorganisms provide media and digital expression of concepts for the creation of interactive installation art.The thesis is divided into an introduction and four chapters.The introductory section explains the background of the selected topic,the purpose and significance of the selected topic,the current status of domestic and international research,the basic content of the thesis,and the method of completing the thesis.The first chapter starts from the origin and development of interactive installation art,sorts out the rhetorical language and interaction methods of installation art,and analyzes the elements and forms of multiple perceptions that influence the expression of concepts in interactive installation art.The second chapter provides an aesthetic reflection on microbial media,examines the morphological characteristics of microorganisms,takes bacterial culture art and bacterial luminescence art as examples,and composes the application of microbial media in art works in terms of materials,forms,and physiological characteristics by analyzing cases of microbial art design.Chapter 3focuses on the digital expression of microbial media in interactive installation art,analyzing the conceptual expression of microbial media in interactive installation art through the concept of life and the concept of senses;discussing the ways of digital expression of microbial media in interactive installation art with cases,focusing on the digital translation of the visual language of microbial media,the digital construction of media language and the use of technology.The study also examines the interaction of microbial media in interactive installation art from both the technical and media aspects,and explores the digital expression of microbial media with the example of the graduation work.The fourth chapter presents an outlook on the future development trend of the fusion of interactive installation art and microbial media,analyzing the fusion from different perspectives,leading to the innovation of science and technology and biological sustainability,and analyzing the artistic transformation of disciplinary achievements and the issues and challenges of art and science ethics in the fusion between the two.The thesis focuses on the digital expression of microbial media in interactive installation art.By creating art through microbial media,the paper will explore the theme of society and life from the level of individual consciousness and perception,and visualize the possibilities of the future through artistic techniques.This paper examines how microbial media,as a branch of biology,can be fused with interactive installation art through numerous case studies and creative practices,hoping that it can serve as a reference in the cross-border study of art and science and provide a new research perspective and basis for future cross-border development of art and science.
