Research On Universal Evaluation Method And Application Based On User Valu

The concept of universality is widely used in product design.The evaluation of universality of products usually refers to the seven principles of universality evaluation proposed by Mace,which is highly subjective and lacks objective basis for the evaluation of universality of products.In order to objectively evaluate the degree of universality of products,this paper proposes an evaluation method of universality design based on user value for diverse user groups,quantifies the degree of universality of products into objective data,and guides product innovative design.Among the total users,the higher the degree of realization of the value of diversified users indicates that the more users with different abilities can be included in the process of using the product,and the higher the universality of the product.This paper analyzes the dimensions of user value and constructs a user value vocabulary for evaluation.According to the difference of the lack of comprehensive ability,diverse user groups are divided,and AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)is used to determine the importance of various users.By referring to the user value evaluation and the weight of various users,the realization degree of user value is comprehensively evaluated,and the user scope covered by the product is obtained,namely the degree of universality of the product.By analyzing the evaluation data of various users on different value factors of products,the difference of user value realization is determined,and the users excluded by design and their value are determined,so to determine the degree of universality and design improvement point of products.During the improved design,analyze the importance and realization degree of user value,can confirm the priority of design tasks.In this paper,household bath is selected as the verification object to verify the applicability of this method.The results showed that the universality index of the improved product(0.72)was higher than that of the improved product(0.65).The realization degree of diversified user value was increased,and the universality of the product was improved.It shows that the evaluation method based on user value can accurately locate design improvement points,improve the universality of products,and meet the needs of diverse users.
