Objective:To explore the correlation between postpartum paralysis and the levels of estradiol(E2),progesterone(P),and prolactin(PRL),and objectively evaluate the safety and clinical efficacy of Qufeng Zhitong pot on postpartum paralysis. The clinical application of the pot provides a theoretical basis.Method:Taking patients from the rheumatology department, gynecology department and obstetrics outpatient department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine as the research objects,60 patients with postpartum paralysis,30 healthy women of childbearing age,and 30 healthy postpartum women(lactation)were selected. The E2,P and PRL levels of women in the two groups were significantly different;the patients with postpartum paralysis were then randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, the control group was given emotional counseling, and the patients were advised to exercise regularly and maintain good living habits.Treated with Qufeng Zhitong pot for 8 weeks. The differences of E2,P,PRL levels,TCM syndrome scores and VAS scores between the two groups before and after treatment were observed.Result: 1.Comparison of the levels of E2,P and PRL among patients with postpartum paralysis, healthy women of childbearing age,and healthy postpartum(lactation)women. There were differences in the levels of E2,P and PRL among the three groups of women(P<0.05).It is proved that there are physiological fluctuations in the levels of E2,P and PRL in women at childbearing age and postpartum;the changes of E2,P and PRL levels in healthy postpartum(breastfeeding)women and patients with postpartum paralysis may be related to the pathological state of postpartum paralysis.2.There was no significant difference in general conditions(age, course of disease, number of fetuses),VAS score,TCM syndrome score,E2,P and PRL levels between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05).3.The VAS scores,TCM syndrome scores and symptoms of the patients in the postpartum paralysis treatment group and the control group were improved, and the effective rate in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group. The E2,P and PRL levels of the treatment group and the control group were significantly different before and after treatment, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Comparison between the two groups:E2,P levels were different, but PRL levels were not significantly different.4.Correlation analysis between postpartum paralysis symptoms and estrogen:E2 and P levels were negatively correlated with TCM syndrome scores. The higher the E2 and P levels, the more obvious symptom relief was.PRL has nothing to do with card points. In conclusion:(1)There were differences in the levels of E2,P and PRL between postpartum healthy women and postpartum paralysis patients(P<0.05);(2)The severity of postpartum paralysis is related to the reduction of E2 and P levels. The higher the E2 and P levels, the more obvious the symptom relief of patients, and has nothing to do with PRL;(3)Qufeng Zhitong pot combined with emotional counseling, regular exercise, and maintaining regular living habits can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of postpartum paralysis.(4)No obvious serious adverse reactions were found in Qufeng Zhitong pot, which is suitable for clinical use.
