Objective: To support clinical value for the more rapid and effective treatment method on cervical type cervical spondylopathy(CTCS)and new diagnostic ideas on CSCT,by clinical observation of whether the efficacy of tendon-acupuncture(TA)therapy combined with the puerariae decoction(PD)is better than the tendon-acupuncture therapy in the treatment of CSCT.Method: 60 clinical cases were collected by following the inclusion criteria of CSCT,strictly.A part of patients treated in the outpatient department of Changsha TCM Rehabilitation Hospital(former Changsha Massage Hospital)from January2021 to June 2021 and another part of patients who were volunteers recruited from Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and society were selected into research. These 60 subjects randomly and averagely were assigned into two groups in order, which were experimental group and control group.Patients in the experimental group were treated with TA combined with PD,while the control group’s patients were treated with TA.The direction of the needle into the tendon should be subject to analgesic effect. After 30 minutes, the needle should be taken off.Every patient has been treated by TA therapy once a day and 4 times a week, for 2 weeks. Each dose(2bags in 1 dose)PD should be taken by patient warmly in the morning and evening,4doses a week,1 course for two weeks. The changes in the simplified Mc Gill pain scale score(SF-MPQ score),visual pain scale score(VAS score)and cervical spondylosis efficacy score between the two groups were observed, during the treatment process.Total effective rates were counted. The clinical efficacy of the two groups’ treatment was evaluated.Result:1.The VAS score,SF-MPQ score and cervical spondylosis efficacy score of the experimental group were significantly analyzed by statistical software before and after treatment(P <0.01);2.The VAS score,SF-MPQ score and cervical spondylosis efficacy score of the control group were also significantly analyzed by statistical software before and after treatment(P <0.01);3.After treatment, the comparison about VAS score,SF-MPQ score and cervical spondylosis efficacy score between the experimental group and the control group showed no statistical difference(P> 0.05);4.After treatment, the comparison about total effective rate between the experimental group and the control group was not significantly different(P> 0.05),and the efficacy of both groups was high, while the cure rate was low, with only 10%in the experimental group and 6.7% in the control group.Conclusion:1.Two groups’ treatment methods both can evidently ameliorate the clinical symptoms of pain and discomfort in patients with CTCS;2.After treatment, the comparison between the two groups about VAS score,SF-MPQ score and the cervical spondylosis efficacy score showed no difference. The results indicated that TA combining PD was not better than TA therapy in the short term;3.Overall efficiency of treatment was high in both groups, but the cure rate of the two groups was low.It was believed that in the research process of the treatment of CTCS,only speed effect was sought, rather than curative consolidation. It was suggested that the future research on the treatment cycle of this disease should be appropriately extended to achieve the curative effect of long-term curative consolidation.
