| Objective:To investigate the general information,TCM evidence,TCM constitution and five-state personality characteristics of patients with Decreased Ovarian Reserve(DOR),and to explore the correlation between five-state personality and TCM evidence and constitution of DOR patients. This study was conducted to provide a scientific reference for the clinical treatment of the disease from both body and mind,in order to slow down the rate of ovarian reserve loss, even prolong the fertility period, prevent premature ovarian failure, and improve the quality of life of women. Methods:In this study, two investigators were fixed by using the questionnaire method, and uniform training was provided on the content of the questionnaire and the precautions to be taken when filling it out before its collection.Patients who attended the gynecology outpatient clinic of Guang’anmen Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2021 to January 2023 and were diagnosed with DOR were included and completed face-to-face using the TCM Four Diagnostic Information Collection Form,Baseline Ovarian Reserve Function Information Form,TCM Five State Personality Test Form, and TCM Body Mass Scale under the uniform guidance of the investigators. The five-state personality scale was compared with the national female normative model to compare the differences in personality dimensions of DOR patients and their correlations with TCM evidence and TCM body mass.for statistically significant differences, and P≥0.05 for non-statistically significant differences.Results:1 Distribution of TCM evidence types:the information from the four TCM consultations of DOR patients was clustered into four categories after cluster analysis:spleen and kidney deficiency evidence(35 cases,34.3%),liver depression and spleen deficiency evidence(29 cases,28.4%),liver and kidney yin deficiency evidence(23 cases,22.5%),and kidney deficiency and blood stasis evidence(15 cases,14.7%).The TCM evidence distribution was related to FSH level(p<0.05)and was independent of age and BMI(p>0.05).2 Distribution of TCM body types:The distribution of TCM body types in 102 DOR patients was Yang deficiency(34 cases,33.3%)>Qi yu(13 cases,12.7%)=Blood stasis(13 cases,12.7%)>Yin deficiency(12 cases,11.8%)=Pinghe(12 cases,11.8%)>Damp heat(8 cases,7.8%)>Qi deficiency(5 cases,4.9%)>Endowment(4 cases,3.9%)>Phlegm-damp(1 case,1.0%).3 Distribution of personality traits:compared with the national female norm, the DOR patients were more likely to be "Sun","Shao Yang","Yin-Yang Peaceful",and "Tai Yin".The mean scores on the four dimensions of "Taiyin" were lower, and the scores on the dimension of "Shaoyin" were significantly higher, and all five dimensions were statistically significant(p<0.05).4 Correlation between the TCM evidence type and the TCM constitution:there was a correlation between the TCM constitution and the evidence type in DOR patients, with Yang deficiency correlating with Spleen and Kidney deficiency evidence and Yin deficiency correlating with Liver and Kidney Yin deficiency evidence, and the differences were statistically significant(p<0.05).5 Correlation between TCM physical constitution and five-state personality:there was correlation between TCM physical constitution and five-state personality of DOR patients, the higher the score of Taiyin dimension and Shaoyin dimension, the more the physical constitution tended to be biased, among which Taiyin personality was positively correlated with Phlegm-Dampness,Yang Deficiency,Qi Void and Blood Stasis, and negatively correlated with Qi Yu;Shaoyin personality was positively correlated with Blood Stasis, and the differences were all statistically significant(p<0.05).6 Correlation between TCM evidence type and five-state personality:DOR patients with liver-depression and spleen-deficiency evidence scored higher than the national female normative model on the Shao-Yin dimension, and the differences were all statistically significant(p<0.05).Conclusion:The TCM evidence type of DOR patients is dominated by spleen and kidney deficiency, and the physical constitution score is mainly Yang deficiency, with Shao-Yin personality being more prominent.Shao-yin people mostly formed liver-depression and spleen-deficiency evidence and blood-stasis quality. It is suggested that clinical diagnosis and treatment of DOR patients should pay attention to the psychological condition of the patients while identifying the evidence, make targeted adjustment of yin and yang content according to the personality characteristics exhibited by the patients, and help to adopt the corresponding exercise or lifestyle in daily life to further improve the clinical efficacy. |
