A Study On The Performance Of Bottle Flowers In Chen Hongshou’s Works

Based on the Chen Hongshou’s life and the background of the times,this paper takes "bottle flowers" as the starting point to explore the connotation and external expression of Chen Hongshou’s bottle flowers.And then studies the significance of bottle flowers to Chen Hongshou’s works.Chen Hongshou lived in an era when the wind of antiquity prevailed and many works on vase flowers gradually matured.Influenced by this,literati are very fond of bottle flowers.Chen Hongshou also has a lot of performance on bottle flowers.Combined with the analysis of his works,the bottle flowers in his works have the meaning of metaphorical characters.Most of the individual bottle flowers also celebrate people’s birthday and express the meaning of blessing.In terms of bottle flowers expression,from the two aspects of flowers and bottles,combined with multiple works,this paper analyzes the decorative and geometric feelings in the bottle flower works and Chen Hongshou’s expression methods of flowers and bottles.And then extends the meaning of bottle flowers in Chen Hongshou’s bottle flower works.The bronze bottle show by Chen Hongshou has the symbol of "ancient",which plays an indispensable role in Chen Hongshou’s high ancient picture.The meaning of recording events is that Chen Hongshou’s vase flower works have a strong image reference function for the contemporary study of the bottle flower culture of Chen Hongshou’s era.Finally,the paper expounds the influence of Chen Hongshou’s bottle flowers on the props in my creation and guides the creation with theory.
