| In recent years,with the enhancement of China’s national strength,the importance of Chinese in the world has been increasing.More and more foreign students take Chinese as their first choice in foreign language learning and come to China to learn Chinese.The master of Chinese international education occupies a very important proportion.As an effective support for testing students’ learning achievements,academic papers are also the only way for them to complete their studies and graduate smoothly.To complete a high-quality academic paper,the author needs to make some efforts.To start the work of thesis writing,we should not only read a large number of relevant literature,but also accurately consider all aspects of thesis writing steps on the basis of research methods.When foreign students write papers,there are various problems at different stages.Especially after the outbreak of the epidemic,students can not come to China to study,teachers’ guidance on students’ thesis writing has also been limited to varying degrees,and many problems in students’ writing have been more exposed.Through interviews and questionnaires with 30 foreign master students majoring in Chinese international education,this paper sorts out the difficulties and potential problems encountered in the process of writing,and explores the causes of various problems.At the same time,by exploring the difficulties and causes of the instructor in helping students write,collect relevant problems in the form of interviews and deeply explore the causes.We found that students have various problems in the five stages of topic selection,literature review,writing,investigation and analysis(if any)and revision,such as nonstandard language use,insufficient ability to analyze and refine ideas,and tutors also have many problems in the process of guiding students’ writing,such as low communication efficiency between teachers and students,high self emotion and psychological expectation.In view of the above problems,we propose that foreign master students should pay attention to their own ability and improve and change their language ability,academic paper writing ability,personal preference and topic selection,emotional attitude and so on;In the process of guiding students to complete their papers,teachers should not only pay attention to students’ emotions and communication effects and help students improve their abilities,but also pay attention to their own emotions and psychological expectations.Do not set expectations inconsistent with students’ actual abilities to require students.The above contents will be explained in detail below to help external research students weaken the writing difficulties and successfully complete their graduation thesis. |
