Abstract/Summary:
Road traffic plays an essential role in cultural transmission.Therefore,it is the carrier of social and cultural communication of human beings in some degree.The improvement and development of infrastructure such as roads are the main conditions for cultural communication.The construction of roads and the change of transportation mode will deliver a great impact on social community and regions.Taking Saihantal town as an example,the paper analyzes the impact of infrastructure on pastoral areas.Road traffic and its development have different implications for Saihantala town in terms of developed economy,changing ecological livelihood and influencing social culture.Using the materials collected by the field investigation method,the author observes the relationship between road traffic and herdsmen,analyzes the impact of road construction on the areas along the road,and how the pastoral areas realize their modernization under the assistance of road construction and its development.This paper discusses the impact of road traffic on the social culture of pastoral areas.The whole paper consists of the part of introduction,chapter 1,chapter 2,chapter 3,conclusion,references and thank-you speech.The introduction part explains the research background,purpose,significance,preliminary research and innovation.The first chapter mainly introduces the traffic historical background of Saihantal town,including the social environment and road construction background,so as to summarize its traffic history.The second chapter mainly contains the historical evolution of road traffic in Saihantal town,and illustrates the ancient forms of transportation and the process of road construction.In the road construction,the road traffic history,railway and highway construction of Saihantal town are included respectively.The third chapter mainly focuses on the impact of road traffic on social culture,which is divided into the impact of road traffic on social culture in pastoral areas and on Herdsmen’s life.These include the impact of road traffic on modernization,the mutual assistance between road traffic change and life improvement,and the challenges brought by road traffic to the lives of herdsmen.In the conclusion part,it summarizes the whole content of the paper.It is believed that Saihantal town has ushered in its own development and changes with its own traffic advantages.Roads have always been the carrier of communication between local and external social culture.It is also an important path for social and cultural communication and mutual influence.The changes in Saihantal town in the past two decades have proved that China,under the policy of developing border areas,advocates building roads for ethnic areas and promoting the links between ethnic and other areas,and it is realizing it.The development and change of Saihantal town is one of the manifestations of the development and change of China’s border areas.The convenient transportation between Saihantal town and other cities not only promotes the local economy,cultural exchanges and ethnic unity,but also promotes the renewal of infrastructure.It also provides itself with labor,advanced technology and talent attraction,which has significantly improved the living standards and quality of local people.In addition,the animal husbandry economy and life style of the herdsmen who occupy the main position in the population composition of Inner Mongolia have also been changed unprecedentedly.Herdsmen are connected with the outside world and realize the sublimation of life by combining new technologies and methods with traditional cultural forms.The road to the grassland provides the basic conditions for all this.
