Research On Traffic And Economy Of Hebei Road In Northern Song Dynasty

During the Northern Song Dynasty,the traffic construction in the northern part of China was further developed on the basis of the Tang Dynasty,forming a water and land transportation network extending in all directions.In the northern region,a network of traffic leading to the surrounding area is opened in Kaifeng,Tokyo.As the"intermediate zone" connecting the Song and Liao countries,Hebei Road's development of its transportation network is very important to the national security of the Northern Song Dynasty.The traffic of Hebei Road is mainly of two types:waterway and land.In terms of land transportation:taking the various stations in Hebei Road as the node,the two roads leading to the border of Liao and Song along the northeast and northwest are formed in Hebei Road.For water transportation:First,the Yuhe River is the main line connecting Kaifeng and Hebei Road.The waterway transportation line from the mainland to the border;followed by the waterway transportation line connecting the southeast and northwest in the river system of the Yellow River,Weihe River and Weihe River.In the context of the Song and Liao confrontation,the water and land transportation line of Hebei Road is the supply of military grain along the border of the Northern Song Dynasty,the cultivation and commercialization of economic crops along the border,the trade between Song and Liao,the prosperity of the state military cities along the line,and the important part of Hebei Road.The formation of the northern market plays an important role.
