Analysis On The Creative Characteristics And Playing Techniques Of Brahms’ Piano Rhapsody In B Minor (OP79)

Brahms,known as the last German classical composer,is called Johannes Brahms.He was a famous composer and pianist in Germany at the end of 19 th century.His works all his life involve various fields,and his dual personality makes romantic music and classical music coexist in his works.His music seems wild and free;But it is included in the regular box without losing heart.This paper aims to tell the creative characteristics of his piano work Rhapsody for Piano in B Minor,and analyze and summarize how the performance techniques presented in the work can be played accurately.At the beginning of the paper,Brahms’ musical growth is introduced in detail,and the source of rhapsody genre is put forward.By telling the creative background of this work,combining with the development of the times at that time,this paper analyzes and studies the creative characteristics of romantic and classical music from the aspects of musical structure,musical texture,mode and melody creation techniques.Finally,the chord touch key,timbre,pedal application and other performance techniques of the work are elaborated in detail.I hope colleagues can learn from this work in the future.
