In translation studies,science and technology translation is an important part.As our country pays greater attention to the development of agriculture,agricultural engineering translation is becoming increasingly important.The source text is the first chapter of Research on the Measurement of Greenhouse Strawberry Canopy Volume Based on Ultrasonic Sensing Technology and 3D Reconstruction Technology.It mainly includes targeted spraying technology,3D reconstruction and measurement of crop canopy,and their present research at home and abroad.The source text is a scientific and technical text,which owns not only general characteristics of scientific and technical texts such as extensive use of terms and sentences without subjects,but also its own characteristics such as use of phrases with Chinese characteristics.This translation report summarizes the author’s experiences in the process of translating the source text from the perspective of translation Skopos Theory.It mainly consists of translation at lexical level including translation of technical terms,nominalization of verbs and translation of phrases with Chinese characteristics,translation at syntactic level including passive voice,reversing order and use of connectives,and translation at textual level including use of substitution,reference and conjunction.By writing this report,the author summarizes her own translation work,gathers experiences,and hopes to provide reference for translators engaged in similar translation.
