Research On Boshan Coloured Glaze Modeling Language From The Perspective Of Traditional Craft

In its initial production and manufacture,glaze was decorated as its main purpose.With the continuous improvement and development of the glazing process and the mastery and application of its materials,glazing has become popular as a substitute for jade and emerald,and Boshan has become one of the most important places for the production of glazing,with its rich mineral resources,inherited techniques and profound cultural heritage,and its firing process was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2014.Nowadays,China attaches importance to cultural soft power and the inheritance and development of intangible cultural heritage,and in the context of increasing global cultural exchanges,the increasing richness of new decorative elements and the manifestation of national cultural characteristics,it is especially important to analyze the modeling language of Boshan glaze from the perspective of traditional craftsmanship,and adopt three methods,namely literature analysis,field survey and questionnaire survey,to investigate the modeling language of Boshan glaze from the perspective of traditional craftsmanship.Through the study of the modeling language of Boshan glaze,we can understand the characteristics of Boshan glaze and teach it to meet the challenges and opportunities with a new look.As a kind of traditional craft,Boshan glaze still stands and moves forward in the wave of modernization and globalization of industrial production,and in the process of development,Boshan glaze has become a craft commodity with both artistic and commercial characteristics.It has formed a rich and distinctive modeling language of Boshan glaze by virtue of its exquisite and diverse craftsmanship and regional characteristics,and whether Boshan glaze is used as decorative or practical products,its products themselves are characterized by Boshan’s unique modeling language.With the new requirements of an all-round development of society and an increase in people’s material and cultural needs,how to make the Boshan glazed products meet the needs of modern life should be studied from its modeling language,and specific development strategies should be proposed based on a comprehensive understanding of the elements and characteristics of Boshan glazed modeling language.Based on the perspective of traditional craftsmanship,this paper sorts out the historical development of the modeling language of Boshan glaze from three aspects: its historical inheritance,national and regional characteristics,and hand-made,and elaborates the elements of the modeling language of Boshan glaze.Then,we analyze the modeling language of Boshan glaze in depth in four aspects,namely "inevitability","contingency","reference" and "human" subjectivity,and propose the introduction of advanced equipment and tools,cultivation of talents with innovation and management ability,and strengthening of technology.In view of the existing problems of Boshan glaze modeling language,we propose targeted development strategies such as introducing advanced equipment and tools,cultivating talents with both innovation and management ability and strengthening technical communication,and developing Boshan lampwork glaze into a blind box type glaze product and co-branding with other brands across the border.In the context of protecting and developing traditional craftsmanship,the modeling language of Boshan glaze should be improved in the light of policy protection and high level of technology,and a new modeling language should be used to meet challenges and seize opportunities.It is hoped that this paper will provide some insight into the study of the language of the traditional craft of glazing in Boshan and its characteristics and problem-solving strategies.
